Continuing the conversation at ALA Conference

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing reflections on lymphatic care — from understanding early signals in the body, to the importance of comfort and consistency over time.

These are not just ideas. They are conversations that continue to evolve.

And I’m looking forward to bringing these conversations into the upcoming ALA Conference.

This year, I’ll be presenting:

“Comfort gave me control again” — using lived experience to inform patient-centred lymphatic care following breast cancer treatment

as well as sharing a poster that explores how patient experience can inform more sustainable approaches to lymphatic support.

Much of this work has come from:

  • listening to patients

  • observing patterns over time

  • and reflecting on what the body communicates beyond visible symptoms

It connects closely to what I’ve been sharing recently:

  • recognising early sensations

  • understanding lymphatic load

  • and supporting the system in a way that can be sustained

If you are attending the conference, I would genuinely welcome the opportunity to connect.

Whether it’s:

  • a conversation

  • sharing perspectives

  • or simply introducing yourself

These moments are where ideas deepen and evolve.

I look forward to being part of the discussions — and continuing to learn alongside others in this space.
