Following our recent UK visit, it was wonderful to reconnect with the Australian lymphoedema community by exhibiting at the Lymphoedema Association Australia (LAA) Information Day in Melbourne.
Events like these are not just about showcasing products, they are an opportunity to listen, learn and better understand the challenges faced by people living with lymphoedema, as well as the clinicians and organisations who support them every day.
Throughout the day, there was genuine interest in our DP-Tx™ range of products, with many attendees keen to learn more about how a non-compression, movement-activated approach may provide an additional option alongside existing lymphoedema management.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing researchers share some fascinating work exploring the lymphatic system, including studies using zebrafish to better understand how the lymphatic network develops and functions. It was an exciting reminder of how much innovation is occurring across many areas of lymphatic research and the importance of continuing to challenge traditional thinking.
While these events may be small, they play an important role in building awareness, sharing ideas and strengthening connections within the lymphoedema community. We are grateful to the Lymphoedema Association Australia for the opportunity to participate and look forward to continuing these conversations as we work towards improving options for people living with lymphatic conditions.
