The "Game Changer" in Lymphoedema Care: Veronica’s Story

A Difficult Diagnosis

Veronica’s breast cancer journey involved a single mastectomy (SMX) with DIEP flap reconstruction (a complex microsurgical procedure using belly tissue to rebuild the breast) and lymph node removal in December 2025.

By March 2026, Veronica was diagnosed with lymphoedema in both her left arm and breast. Managing lymphoedema fluid buildup that can cause swelling, discomfort, and a heavy feeling, requires a dedicated, daily routine of compression, exercise, and careful monitoring.

A Major Breakthrough
