This month marks an exciting milestone for ChezLeon as we prepare to exhibit at the Wounds Australia Conference 2026.

Many people know ChezLeon through our first commercial product, the DP-Tx™ Bra Insert, developed to support women experiencing breast lymphoedema following breast cancer treatment. Since its launch, the response from patients and clinicians has reinforced our belief that there is a need for comfortable, practical alternatives that support lymphatic health without relying solely on compression.

However, the Bra Insert has always represented just the beginning of a much bigger vision.

At the conference, we will be sharing how the underlying DP-Tx™ (Differential Pressure Therapy) platform is being explored for a broader range of conditions where swelling presents significant challenges for patients and clinicians alike.

As the recipient of the Wounds Australia Incubator Grant, we are proud to showcase the progress being made as we investigate potential applications of the technology in trauma, wound care and orthopaedic recovery.

Among the case experiences we will be discussing are two individuals whose journeys have helped shape the next generation of DP-Tx™ product development.

One involves recovery following severe lower limb trauma, while the other follows extensive surgery for metastatic melanoma that resulted in significant swelling of the head and neck. These experiences have provided valuable insights into how movement-activated differential pressure technology may support the management of oedema in complex clinical situations and have reinforced the importance of continuing formal clinical evaluation.

While these products remain in development, they represent an exciting step towards expanding the DP-Tx™ platform into new areas of patient care.

Our goal now is to build the clinical evidence required to support future product development and, ultimately, improve outcomes for more patients living with swelling associated with surgery, trauma and other medical conditions.

The Wounds Australia Conference provides an ideal opportunity to connect with clinicians, researchers and healthcare organisations who share this vision.

If you are involved in wound care, trauma, orthopaedics, oncology, burns, reconstructive surgery or lymphatic care, and are interested in collaborating on future clinical evaluations or research projects, we would love to meet you.

Innovation is rarely achieved in isolation. It is built through collaboration, shared expertise and a commitment to improving patient care.

We look forward to meeting colleagues from across Australia and sharing the next chapter of the DP-Tx™ journey.
